Luba Yoffee is a finance professional with 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, and a well-established background in managing financial reporting, supervising a global team, leading internal audits and establishing operational governance. Luba also holds professional certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner. Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Luba is deeply troubled by the ongoing conflict in her native country and is actively participating in various initiatives to deliver relief and support to Ukraine. As a board member of Homes for Ukraine, she will further her contribution to help Ukraine and its people resist the unjust aggression and prosper as a strong and sovereign nation.
Yevgeniy Epshteyn is a Ukrainian born immigrant to the United States who built his life and a successful business after immigrating in 1995. With over 25 years of extensive experience in ocean, airfreight transportation and all aspects of international logistics projects including ocean, air, trucking and intermodal worldwide, he brings capabilities to deliver goods and services where it is needed most in Ukraine or any other place. Yevgeniy holds MS degree in Systems Analysis from Vinnytsia National Technical University, Vinnytsia, Ukraine and MBA degree from Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Michigan.
Mr. Epshteyn volunteers as Vice President for Homes for Ukraine, and through his logistics experience, brings to the organization his enthusiasm and an indispensable approach to problem solving.
John Zaryckyj is a first generation Ukrainian, born and raised in Detroit. John holds a Bachelors degree in Human Resources from Wayne State University and is also a Licensed Builder.
John Zaryckyj is also a promoter of the cultivation and preservation of Ukrainian culture, and is the Director of the Kolomeyka Dance Ensemble, and the President of the Ukrainian Youth Organization CYM.
John’s recent trip to Poland to help organize temporary housing for his own Ukrainian extended refugee-family, along with their neighbors and friends, prompted the formation of Homes for Ukraine, Inc., where John serves as the President.
Natalia Zaryckyj is a second-generation Ukrainian born in Brazil. Natalia immigrated to the US and holds dual citizenship in Brazil and USA. Languages spoken include English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Ukrainian.
Natalia Zaryckyj has a Bachelor of Accounting and a Masters in International Business from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. She is a Certified Treasury Professional and a member of the Association for Finance Professionals. Natalia is currently a Chief Financial Officer at a tier-1 automotive supplier and volunteers her time as a member of Homes for Ukraine, Inc. where she is passionate about helping Ukrainian families find support to rebuild their lives by finding safe temporary housing and permanent homes.
Over the past year, we have helped over 1,000 individuals in our community improve their mental health and well-being.
